Iris Retreat – Terms & Conditions
Bookings
When you book with Iris Retreat, you're requesting an appointment. Your booking isn’t confirmed until I review and accept it. I may cancel or reschedule if the request doesn’t align with Iris Retreat's policies.
Consultation Forms
A consultation form is required before your first appointment. Once you book, I’ll send you the form – please complete it before your appointment to ensure a smooth experience.
If this is your first ever spray tan, or you have particularly sensitive skin, please book a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment. A patch test may also be required where deemed appropriate.
Deposits
A £15 deposit per treatment is required to secure your booking. This amount will be deducted from your total bill.
Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations, rescheduling or changes made with 48 hours or less notice, as well as missed appointments.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel, reschedule or make changes to your appointment. This helps me manage my schedule and offer your slot to another client.
Any cancellation, rescheduling or change made with 48 hours or less notice will result in the £15 deposit being forfeited.
If you do not attend your appointment, your £15 deposit will be forfeited.
Arriving late will cut into your appointment time. A late arrival of 10 minutes or more may mean that your appointment cannot go ahead, particularly where there is insufficient time remaining to safely or effectively complete the treatment. In this instance, your £15 deposit will be forfeited.
Payments
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash at the end of your appointment. Full payment is expected at that time.
Refunds
I do not offer refunds for completed services. If you have any issues with your treatment, please reach out within 48 hours, and I will do my best to resolve them.
Client Responsibilities
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment due to limited parking.
If you require any patch tests, please ensure these are completed within the required timeframe and follow the guidelines provided.
If you would like nail art, please add it to your booking so time can be allocated for this during your appointment. Nail art requests should be forwarded at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Once an appointment has been booked, the full cost of the scheduled services will apply. If, during your appointment, you choose to reduce or decline any of the treatments originally booked, you will still be charged for the full value of the services reserved at the time of booking.
Only products of Iris Retreat are available for removal. If you are a new nail client, please arrive at your appointment with your nails free of product so that nail health can be assessed before treatment.
Spray Tanning
Iris Retreat uses professional Sienna X spray tanning products. While every care is taken to achieve an even, natural-looking result, individual results can vary depending on skin type, preparation, skincare, hormones, medication, lifestyle and individual skin chemistry.
Before Your Spray Tan
Please arrive with clean, dry skin and free from moisturiser, oils, deodorant, perfume and other products that may affect the application or development of your tan.
Exfoliation should ideally be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid waxing immediately before your appointment and, where possible, shave at least several hours before your tan.
Please wear loose, dark clothing and suitable footwear following your appointment to minimise rubbing while your tan develops.
Please inform Iris Retreat before your appointment of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, medications or other factors that may affect your treatment.
Patch Tests & Suitability
If this is your first spray tan at Iris Retreat, or you have particularly sensitive skin, a patch test should be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment.
A patch test does not guarantee that a reaction will not occur. If you experience any reaction following a patch test, please inform Iris Retreat and do not proceed with the spray tan.
Iris Retreat reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment where it is considered unsuitable or unsafe to proceed.
After Your Spray Tan
Please follow the development and aftercare instructions provided at your appointment.
Avoid showering, swimming, excessive sweating, exercise, saunas and hot tubs until your recommended rinse time.
After your first rinse, gently pat your skin dry rather than rubbing and moisturise regularly to help maintain an even fade.
A spray tan does not provide protection from the sun. You must continue to use appropriate SPF.
Iris Retreat cannot be held responsible for uneven results, premature fading or reduced longevity where preparation or aftercare instructions have not been followed.
Please be aware that spray tan solution can transfer onto clothing, bedding, towels and other surfaces while developing. Iris Retreat cannot accept responsibility for staining.
Health & Safety
If you're not feeling well, please contact me to reschedule.
Please do not attend your appointment if you have a contagious illness or a skin condition that may make the treatment unsuitable.
All tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned before each client to ensure their safety.
Please inform me immediately during your appointment if you experience any discomfort, irritation, dizziness or feel unwell.
Quiet Appointment Requests
If you prefer a silent or quiet appointment, please inform me beforehand, and I will happily accommodate you.

Toilet Facilities
Please note, while I work from home, there are no public toilet facilities available. Kindly plan accordingly before your appointment.
Privacy
Your personal information is only used to manage your bookings and provide your treatments. Your information will never be shared with others unless required by law. Your privacy is important to me.
